Code of Conduct
Child Labor
No person will be employed under the age of 18 or younger than the age for completing compulsory education, whichever is higher. Persons under the age of 18 will not be employed in work that is hazardous or to jeopardize their health, safety, or morals.
Compliance with Laws
All Standards set forth in this Code are subject to compliance with applicable local law.
All our partners shall operate in full compliance with the laws of their respective country of manufacture.
Forced Labor, Slavery & Human Trafficking
There shall be no use of forced labor, including prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, slave labor, or other forms of forced labor.
Environment
FETOLIA is committed to protect the environment. All our partners are requested to develop and maintain environmentally responsible business practices and to comply with environmental laws, including operating with relevant environmental permits and licenses, in the country of operation.
Non - Discrimination
No person shall be subject to any discrimination in employment, including hiring, compensation, advancement, discipline, termination or retirement, on the basis of race, color, sex, pregnancy, religion, political opinion, national extraction or social origin, ethnic origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
Health & Safety
There shall be no use of forced labor, including prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, slave labor, or other forms of forced labor.
Wages & Benefits
FETOLIA recognizes that wages are essential to meeting workers’ basic needs.
FETOLIA shall pay workers for all work completed and shall pay at least the minimum wage required by law, the prevailing industry wage, or the wage negotiated in a collective agreement, whichever is higher.
Harassment or Abuse
Every worker shall be treated with respect and dignity. No worker shall be subject to any physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal harassment or abuse.
Work Hours
FETOLIA shall not require workers to work more than the regular and overtime hours allowed by the law of the country where the workers are employed.
The sum of regular and overtime hours in a week shall not exceed 40 hours. In addition to compensation for regular hours of work, workers must be compensated for overtime hours at such a premium rate as legally required.
FETOLIA will carry out operations in ways that limit overtime to a level that ensures productive and humane working conditions.
Subcontractors
Any subcontractor retained by a FETOLIA’s supplier shall comply with this Code, and each of FETOLIA’s suppliers is responsible for ensuring its subcontractor’s compliance. For FETOLIA private label brands, all subcontractors must be disclosed to FETOLIA prior to production, and all subcontractors.
